POKIE (FEMALE)

Pokie is a young adult spayed female cat, with super silky short hair. She was born a stray and lived off the streets for several months before having her 1st litter of 3 kittens outdoors 😢 ... luckily someone noticed the 4 of them searching for food in the alley and was eventually able to catch them.

We found out that Pokie was already about to have more kittens!!! 😱 So she raised 4 more babies, in the safety of a loving foster home this time... and all 7 of her kids have found homes.

Pokie has since been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and settled in as a house cat. She does not try to bolt out the door - but she loves to watch nature through the windows. She seems to really enjoy being cared for, she loves toys, and she is very playful!!

Pokie has the sweetest personality but is shy with strangers & takes some time to warm up to you. She is not very fond of being picked up. She will let you know when she needs some affection by rubbing on your leg or following you around the house until you stoop down to pet her or scratch her head. If she decides that she needs a snack, she will stretch up when you open the refrigerator and look in to see what you are going to get for her. 🤣

She likes other cats & especially ❤️ LOVES ❤️ DOGS, no kidding.

This big, fluffy boy is quite a site to see... so very handsome & has blue eyes.

Sylvester was the big boss man when he lived outside as a stray. Neighbors reported seeing him chase or fight off any other cats that came around when he found a food source! He was determined to survive, one way or another.

Ever since we were able to catch him, he has never once attempted to leave the house. 💕

He does really well with the other cats in his foster home - male & female. He is not fond of the dogs, no matter how much they try to persuade him. 🤪

Sylvester has slowly been adjusting to family life... he likes to nap in the sunshine coming through a window... or find a dark, cozy place to hide out for deeper sleep. He does not let people hold him YET, but he will come to you when his name is called. If you get close too quickly, he will hiss at you, but he has started allowing people to brush him. He recently realized that cat trees are cool & dangling toys can be played with. 😁 Sylvester is coming along, bit by bit, and just needs a calm home with someone willing to give him lots of love and patience ❤️ 💙 ♥️

He gets excited when he hears the dry food being poured into his bowl, and loves crunchy treats too.

Sylvester is litter box trained, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, vaccinated, & current on flea prevention!
