KASH
Kash was picked up this summer in Dallas weighing 52 lbs - skin and bones - and just painful to look at. Now, he is 73 lbs, with a spring in his step! 🧡 When we first got him, he had no energy, only perking up a little when meeting a new person or dog. We gave him toys, but he had no interest. Now, he loves his green squeaky toy. Although, he doesn't make it squeak, he just carries it with him. 😄 He also likes rawhide chews, nursing them so they last a good while. He loves to be rubbed under his chin and roll on his back in the grass. 😊
The vet has estimated Kash to be 5 years old, and by all appearances, they have been some pretty tough years. Even with all that, he is super friendly and likes to meet new people and new dogs. He tried his best play bow with his foster mom's chihuahua, but she was not having it. 💔 Kash is a sweetheart and very easy going.
We do not know how he is with cats or small children. We do know that he is super ready for his forever home and for someone to spoil him! 🥰 A loving family is all he needs to complete this journey.

PATCH & CASPER
Meet Patch & Casper: The Perfect Pair🩵🩵
Patch & Casper, two adorable half-brothers, were rescued from the street & are now looking for their forever home together. Both boys have had all their vaccinations & have been neutered, so they’re ready to join your family!
Patch, estimated to be about 1 year old, & Casper, about 6 months old, are a little timid around new people, but once they get to know you, they are super loving & friendly. They both love cats & get along well with them too. Both boys enjoy nose kisses & love to eat ice.🧊 They know basic commands like sit and down, and they are both house & kennel trained.
CASPER is an extremely sweet boy who loves belly rubs & will roll over all the time for them. When you come to greet him, he will wait patiently at your feet for cuddles. Casper often gets the hiccups & he enjoys kiddie pools where the water is shallow.💦 He's very food motivated, listens well, & he's very smart!
PATCH does not like water, but he enjoys food – just make sure you have the good treats! He will howl with joy when he’s happy & excited to see you.. his whole back half will wiggle. Patch is an extremely calm dog, the chillest dog you’ll ever meet. He enjoys fitting himself into cat beds. He's very smart but can be stubborn. He has one bad eye that does not cause him any discomfort or hinder him in his daily life.
Casper seems to be attached to Patch. The first thing Casper does in the mornings is greet Patch with kisses. Casper lacks some confidence, & Patch helps boost his confidence. Because of their strong bond, we would prefer that they are adopted as a pair.💞 (2 for 1 adoption fee!)

MICKEY
Mickey was rescued from a hoarder's house where he was left in a kennel for days at a time with no food to eat, in the dark. He couldn’t even see the light of day.
He was extremely malnourished. His previous owner had neglected him for over a year.
The progress he has made since his rescue is a miracle!
Mickey has now reached his ideal weight of 45 lbs. He's very sweet, happy, & SUCH A LOVING DOG! He makes us laugh.
He’s so funny, playful, affectionate, intelligent, and cat/dog/kid friendly.
He loves car rides, walks, runs, & hikes! He's great during bath time. He loves chew toys & playing fetch. He's always happy & full of energy! He's crate trained & doing great w/potty training.
He's afraid of storms. He is not a barker. Like a puppy he is still learning some rules... he gets so happy to be with people that he often jumps up to greet them, so we do NOT recommend him being w/small kids or elderly who can be easily knocked over.
He's been fully vaccinated, chipped, hw neg & neutered.

MARIO
Mario is the sweetest little goofball you could ever meet.💕 Mario is red in color & he weighs approx 10 lbs. ... he is a chihuahua mix.
He can be so silly & lots of fun to be around. He is such a happy little guy & he enjoys exploring outdoors & sunbathing. Another definite favorite is treat time! He gets so excited & does a cute little happy dance.😆 He is good with other dogs.
He is also a super snuggle bunny & gives lots of kisses. He loves to play but would also love to watch TV with you anytime. He is fully vetted, housetrained, & will use potty pads when necessary. Mario is good on leash too, but his secret wish is to catch those pesky squirrels outside. 🌳🐿

Christopher
This young guy was dumped & ended up at a kill shelter on the euthanasia list 😢 He's so smart, treat-motivated, & eager to please. He takes treats very gently too. He's overcome many fears & loves humans. He can walk much better on the leash now & he's no longer afraid of stairs. He quit barking at the tv too. Running & exploring outside is fun now! His foster mom started training him to "lay down" & "stay" & he just eats it up! He's just a big baby that really, really has a desire to learn. Christopher adores people & he's very gentle.

Presley is a beautiful blue-eyed large breed mix that wants nothing more than to have a best friend.
He is a big boy with a very big heart full of love for somebody.
He loves to play with anybody and can also entertain himself with toys.
He is a wonderful guy who needs a family to call his own.
He is strong, but would love to learn whatever you want him to do...if someone would just give him a chance!
He is already neutered, vaccinated, & microchipped! He is also current on heartworm & flea prevention.

Petey
This very handsome. well-mannered, friendly pup is Petey. He loves everyone! He makes fast friends wherever he goes. He's great with dogs of all sizes & he adores people. We haven't gotten his opinion on cats yet.🤔
Petey's Story:
A good samaritan called us for help when she saw him in her driveway. He wasn't injured, but he seemed unsure of where to go. He walked a little ways down the street, but always came back to the end of her driveway as if he were waiting on someone. It was obvious that this sweet dog had been abandoned there at that spot. While the good samaritan was waiting for us to pick him up, she witnessed someone driving too fast almost hit him. After that, she saw another driver throw garbage at him as they drove by. She offered her new guest some food, water & reassurance that help was on the way. He expressed his gratitude with a kiss to her hand & then he immediately rolled over for a belly rub. How ANY human being can discard or mistreat a dog is incomprehensible.
Petey was taken directly to our vet for an exam. He tested hw+ & he was underweight, but healthy enough to be vaccinated & neutered. While being boarded a few days at the vet hospital so we could search for a foster, he quickly stole the hearts of the kennel staff. They reported that he was charming, cooperative, & potty trained. Petey was placed in foster care & treated for heartworms. He has a clean bill of health & he's more than ready to find a forever family all his own!🤗❤️
Petey will be a super sweet companion who will always be there for you, he would love to be someone's hang out buddy. He's up for anything, including a good snuggle.🧸HE HAS SO MUCH LOVE TO GIVE.

This handsome guy is a one & a half yr old with an "old soul." Even as a young pup, Bandit was very calm & gentle natured. Besides being incredibly sweet & surprisingly laid back, he's also very smart & personable. He's very good on leash, & he rides like a gentleman in a vehicle. He's even a good boy at bath time!💦
He wants so much to find a forever home with a family he can give all of his love to.❤️
Bandit absolutely adores all people. He's gentle around kids & he never jumps on anyone. He waits patiently to be pet. He gets along great with other dogs & when he sees cats from a distance, he's nonreactive. He's been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped & he's current on heartworm prevention & flea prevention. He weighs between 45-50 lbs.. perfect body pillow size!🥰

Ozzie is a big boy.
This freckle-face has such a friendly & gentle disposition.
