Sweet Sweet Summer needs a forever home!
This beautiful girl is a young shepherd mix. She was rescued along with her newborn puppies. She had delivered them in a wooded area next to a small town boat repair shop. A good samaritan witnessed her desperately searching for food near a dumpster & called for help. We were told she belonged to a homeless man who died. This devoted little mama dog fought to keep herself & her puppies alive until help arrived. A volunteer picked them up, weak & exhausted, & transported them to our vet. Despite her struggles, Summer has shown nothing but gentle kindness & gratitude towards her rescuers & caregivers. She's so very sweet & friendly to everyone she meets, including all the kids, cats & dogs in her foster home. She's housetrained, crate trained & walks well on leash. Summer is estimated to be 1-2 yrs old & she weighs approx 40 lbs.
When told she's a pretty girl, she prances like a little pony. It's adorable!💝 (prancing video upon request!)
Summer's pups have all been adopted. She has been spayed & now it's her turn to be someone's baby! She's such a little angel.. very gentle, playful & loving. 👼

Lana
Meet Lana..
Lana is a beautiful pittie girl who is yearning to belong to someone. Likely abandoned, she was picked up as a "stray" & landed in an overcrowded shelter back in early October. She was very underweight at 45 lbs. Being at the shelter was scary & stressful for her. Her anxiety was understandably high. She was miserable. Lana was scheduled to be euthanized. But then her luck changed when someone offered to foster her. She blossomed in a home environment. She was playful, easygoing & affectionate, often seeking attention & enjoying time close to her people. She loved going on walks & was comfortable around adults & strangers. Lana was potty trained & followed a consistent routine. Her foster discovered that she knows basic commands, including "sit," "lie down," & "kennel." She responded well to her name & enjoyed all types of toys. She balanced play time with rest time. She started working on leash reactivity around other dogs. Her personality shined & she thought she finally belonged. Sadly, due to no fault of her own, Lana's world was turned upside down again when due to personal reasons, her foster suddenly had to bring her back to the shelter. The poor sweet girl was confused & heartbroken. She was once again put on the euthanasia list. Thanks to caring volunteers & networkers & our Furever Home rescue team, Lana's life has once again been spared.
She's now available for adoption. She has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, & microchipped. She's current on monthly preventions. She's at a healthy weight now at 70 lbs & she's estimated to be 5 yrs of age.
Lana is still hoping to belong to someone who will never leave her. She has so much love to give in return. Please share her story to help us find the loving forever home Lana so deserves.

Meet Kaia
This adorable pup is Kaia. She is super sweet, eager to please & very smart. She has a lot of fun with her brother Milo & they love playing with other dog friends too!
Kaia is a great combination of playful & calm/loving.
Kaia's temperament is friendly, confident, adaptable & joyful. She's athletic & she loves to run & play outdoors. Indoors, she's content to chew on a bone & nap in her crate. She's mostly white with a few grey patches. She has floppy ears & and awesome smile. She weighs approx 40 lbs & appears to be full-grown.
Kaia & Milo are likely a mix of many breeds. Their tails are expressive & usually curled.
Neither barks excessively, only when alerting. Both enjoy pets & cuddles from their humans, but neither demands attention. They're crate trained & housetrained. Both have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative & microchipped. They're current on heartworm prevention & flea prevention. Milo & Kaia can be adopted together or separately.

Sabrina is a very happy & social girl.
She absolutely loves playing with other dogs too! She doesn't realize how much she has grown, so playtime is best with other medium to large sized friends 😊
She is full of love, loyalty, & cuddles forever. She enjoys the outdoors and is super friendly... except for cats & chickens - Sabrina hates cats & chickens!!! Poor thing grew up in a shelter & made her so sad. Now she just LOVES LIFE!!!

Aurora is a gorgeous Gunmetal Gray girl that wants to be by your side all the time. She's is super loving, super smart, and very interested in everything you do. Hands on with this girl - she will remind you if you aren't petting her enough!!! She also wants to take up half of your bed - just to make sure you are safe at night 😁😉🥰
Aurora's story...
This momma was rescued off the streets just in time to deliver her 11 babies at a large city shelter that was already overcrowded. They were at 125% capacity and had several other moms and babies showing up around the same time. Thanks to employees reaching out to our rescue, we were able to save this sweet family from the euthanasia list!
This sweet momma dog Aurora 💖appears to be a beautiful Cane Corso ... who just recently gave birth to 11 puppies 🤯 YES, ELEVEN... big, fat, & fluffy 😍 She is so incredibly sweet & grateful her large family has been saved. 😢 She appears to have been a breeding dog that was caged alot and somehow escaped or was dumped.
Unfortunately Aurora was just skin & bones, full of heartworms & was infested with intestinal parasites & fleas. She was weak & tired - we gave medication to help her and began the long journey to restoring her health . 🥰
